Stunning piece of 19th century French silver metallic fringe. Twist strands. Large caterpillar accents. The fringe has taken on a dark patina and even in color. Will look great with old fabrics. Photos are a good representation of actual color and condition.

Overall good condition for age. Some pinching anda bit of wear on the caterpillars but has good appearance. It appears that there is one caterpillar missing at one end. In addition there is a seam in the braid along the top which has been very well done.
