Two pieces of this 18th century French fabric. Fabrics have the feel and look of linen but it might be a linen/cottom mix. Medium to dark rosy pink color.

Photos are a good representation of actual color and background.

Measurements

One piece measures

1 meter 10 cm from top to bottom x 42 cm wide (still has the selvage at both sides).

The other piece measures

1 meter 8 cm from top to bottom x 27.5 cm wide (still has the selvage at one side).

Condition

Heavily quilted at one time so you will see traces of quilt lines and slight variation in color due to the lines and age although an even appearace.

Larger piece has a darned repair at one side and a couple dark stain/spots just off the center. There are a couple of tiny holes that can be seen when held up to the light and some small holes at the bottom. Most of the fabric in good useable condition.

The smaller piece has a darker stain at one end and a few thin areas at the same end. Opposite end shows thin areas and small holes at the edge. Again most of the fabric in good useble condition.

The fabrics have been laundered using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents. We like to delivery a clean and pressed product when possible but take care to preserve the color and the integretity of the fabric.
