This was probably part of a quilt at one time. A mix of what appears to be 18th & 19th century French cotton fabrics. Fabrics front and back. My favorite is the resist dye in white and indigo blue on side (18th century) with small blue and white plaids to the sides. At the back two simple block prints. Predominat colors are blues and whites. Little block prints at the back are shades of brown and creme.
I always appreciate the hand stitching of all these odd shaped pieces put together and on this piece you will see some old darns as well.
Photos are a good representation of actual color and condition.
