A 19th century French quilt fragment. Cotton. Fabrics front and back.
Front fabrics: roll/block print depicting bands of stylized baskets holding flowers and leaves in terracotta, shades of marigold and black against a creme colored background.
Back side: block print of small florals which look a bit like cornflowers in shades of blue, marild and a bit of black against a creme colored background.
Photos are a good representation of actual color and condition.
Measurements
1 meter 29 cm x 35 cm wide.
Condition
Left in "as found" condition.
No apparant holes of stains.
Front fabric is actually two pieces seamed together.
Back fabric is fives pieces seamed together.
