An early 1800's French quilt fragment. Various fabrics that have been layered on top of each other over time. Predominant indigo blue and plaid cotton are the largest pieces. The smaller pieces are various shades of browns in solids and stripes and appear to be wool or wool linen combinations. The layers in between you might find some small pieces of other fabrics but it appears that it is predominantly the same as what is showing on top. Some interesting stitch work and combinations.
Photos are a good representation of actual color.
