I love the design in the 19th century French quilt fragment. Provencal design with stylized blossoms, buds and leaves on the front side in terracotta and black against a creme colored background. Backside is a rosy red.   Photos are a good represenation of actual color.

Condition
 
Front side is actually two panels hand stitched together and in very good condition. I didn't really notice any holes or stains. Backside does have some holes and worn areas 
 
The fragment has been left in its "as found" condition.
