A beautiful intense red color in this early 1800's French toile du jouy. Cotton. White background. Depicts two birds center resting on on branches of florals and leaves. At the sides scroll work.

Condition
 
Very distressed. Quilt at one time so you will see traces of quilt lines. Large missing piece from bottom center. Many large and small holes and thin areas. Has a few light stains. 
 
The fabric has been laundered using those famouse Marseille soaps without bleaching agents in order to remove dust and dirt. We like to deliver a clean and pressed product when possible but take care to preserve the color and the integretity of the fabric.
