A late 1700's early 1800's silk & metallic thread embroidery fragment. Italian in origin. Depcits two silk embroidered leaves at the bottom with scrolled leaves and a smart little bow at the upper left hand corner that are all done in a metallic thread. All done on a heavier weight creme colored silk brocade fabric.

54 cm wide at the widest points

Condition
Some missing and loose metallic threads with signs of even surface wear.
Silk brocade shows some small splits and missing pieces.
Can easily be cut out and used as an applique.
