Can't help but be attracted to the odd and unusual sometimes. We recently found this probably mid 20th century French theater wig. The most unusual curly beehive shape with fantastic caramel colored curls. The curls are heavily glued to hold their shape. Appears to be human hair which are attached to strips of netting and then attached to a chicken wire frame base. there are some linen strips at the opening which possible fit over the ears. 
 
The front of the wig has a flat round appearance. When you look at the wig from the side it appears cone shaped. At the back it taper down and is wider at the base. Photos are a good representation of actual color and condition.

Condition
 
Overall good condition with a fantastic display appearance. You will see some tiny spots of glue residue that have come loose with time which you may want to trim off but leave that up to the discretion of the buyer. Wig has been left in "as found" condition.
