A 19th century French quilt fragment. Cotton. Fabrics front and back.
 
Front fabric: Repeating block design of medallions in red and white with stylized blossoms and leaves against a green and blue background. 
 
Back fabrics: Two pieces. One a print of small groups of leaves the other a plaid stripe. 
 
Photos are a good representation of actual color and condition.

Condition
 
Overall good and clean appearance. 
 
Front: very good condition with no holes, stains or disoloration. 
 
Back fabrics: small piece with leaf design in good condition with no damage Striped plaid shows several small holes and a repair although there some good useable pieces without damage. 
 
The fragment has been left in it's "as found" condition.
