A stunning piece of late 1800's ecclesiastical embroidery saved from a vestment cope. Gold work embroidery depicting roses, wheat stock and grapes on the vine. All set on a rich cotton emerald green moire velvet. Moire design appears to have been pressed into the velvet. Gold metallic trims with a matching green accent along three sides. Photos are a good indication of color and condition.

1 meter 24 cm from top to bottom x 31 cm wide. 

 

Condition

 

Excellent condition. No stains or damage or fading of color. Panel has been stabilized at the back but can be removed if desired.
