We recently came across this large hand woven 19th century duvet cover at one of our local brocante markets and I fell in love with the weave and texture which I had never seen before. 
 
Hungarian in origin. Light natural tan color. Acutally four pieces seamed together with the seam running from top to bottom. Heavy weight and would be perfectly suitable for upholstery work as well as soft furnishings. All the seams and heams have all been hand sewn with a linen thread.

The entire piece measures 
 
1 meter 96 cm from top to bottom x 1 meter 3 cm across. 
 
If you were to take the cover apart you would end up with 4 panels measuring 1 meter 96 in length x approx. 52 cm wide. 
 
Condition
 
Excellent condition with no stains or damage or discoloration. Duvet has a very clean appearance and has been left in "as found" condition.
