A beautiful antique wooden spool of gold metallic thread. Two strand flat thread (without a filler) that has been twisted together and gives off a slight crinkled look. High metal contact. The spool  is half full and measures 11 cm from top to bottom x 3.5 cm across the bottom. 
 
The thread is quit fine measuring slightly less than a 1 mm wide.
