An early 1900's French applique. Egyptian revival period. Hard plastic motif center of a winged scarab. Embroidery work to the right and left done in what looks like a plished cotton thread. Blue zig zag trim used top anc center bottom. All outlined in a gold metallic mesh cording. Still on the original card. Hand made.
