An early 1900's vestment applique. French in origin. Depicting a lily to the left, bud center and a rose to the right. Gold work embroidery with  gold metallic soutache piping used for stems and gold metallic purl thread used for blossoms and leaves. Gold metal spangles around the edges.

Appears to be in unused condition and excellent except for one tiny spot on one leaf that is missing a bit of thread at the edge. Nothing major or distracting.
