Large floral and leaf design in this early 1900's silk damask. French in orgin. Medium green color. Medium weight. Suitable for upholstery work as well as soft furnishings. Does not have a full motif center but does have two full motifs to the sides. Photos are a good representation of actual color.
Measurements
1 meter 16 cm from top to bottom
1 meter 27 cm wide (still has selvage along both sides)
Condition
There is a sewing line that runs down both sides of the selvages where the fabric has begun to thin and will show some tiny holes. Sewing line along the top. About 1/3 down from the fabric there are some splits and noticeable wear. Right hand side has some wear and holes. A couple of little holes towards the center. Larger holes towards the bottom and some smaller holes in bottom right hand area. Some condition issues but stil several good size useable area.
The fabrics have been left in "as found" condition and have not been laundered.
