Circa 1900 this French gentlemens vest. Wool. Black with a woven pattern in light grey. Looks a bit like a tweed. Striped cotton liner hand stitched.  Still has it's original buttons. Buckle at back.

58 cm from top of neckline to point at bottom 
35 cm from one side of shoulder to other side of shoulder
54 cm from under arm to under arm. 
 
Condition
 
Some slight wear around the neckline. Two thin area and a hole in fabric at the back towards the top. Buckles shows a bit of rust. 
 
Left in "as found" condition and the liner shows light signs of soiling.
