Circa 1900 this French gentlemens vest. Wool front. Predominantly brickish dark color with a faint pen stripe in burnt orange. Black cotton colored back.  Solid off white cotton liner machine and hand stitched.  Still has it's original buttons. Buckle at back.

56 cm from top of neckline to point at bottom 
36.5 cm from one side of shoulder to other side of shoulder
52 cm from under arm to under arm. 
 
Condition
 
Good condition overall. One small darn at top of shoulder. Two tiny holes in fabric at bottom towards the point and on the opposite point there is a sweet darn. Buckle at back shows a bit of rust. Liner has a small stain and some pinhead marks and shows signs of soiling. 
 
Left in "as found" condition.
