Rough and rugged! An early 1900's. French men's work wear shirt. Long sleeves and tails. Medium weight cotton in a light kaki color. Buttons down the front and at the cuffs with tan colored and white porcelian buttons. Not sure which buttons were original. Makers mark inside of collar. Photos are a good indication of actual color and condition.

Condition
Quick wash to remove surface dirt. It was our intention to leave the shirt pretty much in "as found" condition preserving the age and look. Shows signs of yellowing and age.
Quit a distressed look overall.
Front: shows a larger hole at one side. Several small hand stitching and stabilizing darns where the fabric has worn thin. Darn at the middle. Larger thinning area at one side by sleeve.
Collar: very worn with lots of hand stitching repairs.
Sleeves: One sleeve good condition with patches. One of a different material. Other sleeve has a worn area with holes. Wear and thin areas at the top back of sleaves. Repairs replacements at the cuff.
Back: bottom half of the shirt could be a replacement. There is a repair midway. Small pinhole. Some lisght stains aroudn the top. Wear around bottom hem line.
This shirt has a great shape to it and perfect for upscaling projects.
