I've made this lavender sachet using a 19th century French toile du jouy. Cotton. Reds in color against a white back. Depicting a fountain at the top with two cherubs and the figure of a woman at the bottom filling a water jug. The backing is a 19th century vegetable dyed cotton that was commonly used for liners on vestments. The top has a creme colored antique French silk ribbon. The sachet is tightly stuffed and and should hold it's shape for years to come. Photos are a good representation of actual color and condition.
