A 19th century French quilt fragment. Cotton Red on the one side with a long branch design and swirled leaves. On the reverse side a cotton print in a brownish brick color. Photos are a good represenation of actual color.
Measurements
1 meter 80 cm in length x 30 cm wide.
Condition
Front red has a couple of tiny holes in the body of the fabric and some larger and more wear along one edge but most of the fabric very useable. Other side in very good condition with only a couple of tiny holes but does have a few spots of what looks like glue residue in one area which I've tried to show in one of the photos.
The fabric have been left in their "as found" condition.
