A very large late 1800's French applique. Made from pieces of silk damask in light shades of rosey red, pink, gold and green. Depicting florals and leaves with ribbon. All edges outlines in a gold cording that has been hand stitched. Left side corner piece.
A magnificant piece on it's own and perfect for large decorative projects but could also be cut into several smaller pieces.
