Mid 1700's needlework. Depicting a figure. Done in wool thread. Probably part of a much larger piece at one time and at a later period applied to a gold metallic woven fabric which you can see at the back.

For it's age in good condition. You will see a tiny bit of thread missing at one leg. A bit of missing thread at the edges. A bit of frayed thread which can be trimmed off or stitched down.
