A mid 19th century bonnet. Possibly Bavarian in origin. Base material is a linen and metal thread fabric. Designs are all done in a silver metal threads with metal spangle accents. This has a beautiufl tone on tone look to it. Inside a cotton liner and an original paper inventory label. All hand made. Photos are a good representation of actual color and condition.
Measuremets
16.5 cm from top to bottom x approx. 14 cm wide at the widest points.
Condition
Very good. The only thing to note is a tiny bit of wear at the threads at the corner. Nothing major.
