A late 1800's. French bag. Made from a creme color silk moire fabric and garnished with silver metal spangles on the front depicting simple florals and a bow at the top.  Straps are made from silk ribbon in a matching color. Creme colored cotton lace around the edges. Linen on the inside.  All hand done. Photos are a good representation of actual color and condition. .

25 cm across at the widest points.

Condition
 
Good appearance but a couple of condition issues. A break in the silk at the center just between the decorations at top and at the bottom. Wear along the top where the ribbon is threaded through the fabrics. The ribbon straps are fragile with breaks. Back in good condition no damage and inside liner is also good except along the top edge as noted above.
