A rare find! Antique fragment of chintz block print fabric. Depicts hand painted florals and leaves outlined in a gold and silver paint against a dark purple background. Dates from the late 1600's early 1700's. Cotton. Good strong colors. Sides of the fabric rolled and handstiched. Photos are a good representation of actual color.

Condition
 
Good condition with no stains. Colors are still good and strong. The only thing to note is that this panel is actually two pieces of the same fabric seamed together which can be seen in some of the close up photos.
