Rare find! Antique striped silk fabric. Made in Lyon, France. World famous as one of the best manufactures of silk fabrics and the colors are amazing!  Probably dates from the early 1900's. Still has it's original selvages along both sides.  This example is pale blue in color with narrow strips in navye blue, shades of blue and ombre green and creme.   Photos are a good representation of actual color and condition.

Condition
 
Old stock. Good unused condition. Colors and threads good and strong except for where the silk has been folded down the middle. When held up to light you can see that the thread has slightly weakened in the fold line but not all the way through and not the entire length of the fabric. There is one small age spot just to one side about the size of a dime.
