Condition

Left in "as found" condition. These shawls are very popular and widely collected. They are not my area of expertise and I am leaving restoration and cleaning up to the discretion of the customer.

The shawl shows some diagonal lines of soiling. I believe the shawl was folded into a triangle at one time and accumulated dust and dirt in the folds. It looks like it would lift with a professional clean. A couple of tiny pinholes in terracotta section. Nothing really major. There are two old repairs that have been done very well. One at a corner of the cloth and ther other at a side which was probably a split and now closed shut. Colors in border are strong and even.

Would be beautiful framed, upscaled or reproduced.
