Made by Vasile Merce, wearable art designer,  this ribbon work basket. All hand done. An antique silk and metallic brocade has been used to make the base of the basket. Gold metallic lace trims around the sides and form the handle. French silk and ombre ribbon work flowers at each side together with ombre leaves.  A bud running down the middle. Gold metallic bullion threads added to two of the flower centers.   Photos are a good indication of color and condition.

All materials used in making this ribbon work basket are antique and originate from France. All materials in good and mostly unused condition.
