Measurements
63 cm from top to bottom
The width is
87 cm wide
Condition
Heavily distressed with some larger holes and small holes throughout as well as many thin areas. Most notable the fabric had been over quilted at one time (later in the 19th century) with some pink cotton threads. These threads undoubtedly got moist at one time and some of the color has bleed into some of the white areas of the fabric. The blue areas show no bleading. There are some good small section at the right side without damage that could be used as patches. Left hand side of the fabric is more distressed than the right hand side.
The fabric has been lightly laundered with those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents to remove dust and dirt. We like to delivery a clean and pressed product when possible but take care to preserve the color and integretity of the fabric.
