A set of two 19th century French metallic gold work appliques. Probably gold at one one time but have now taken on a gun metal grey even patina.

Condition
 
Used but still in good condition with some minor signs of aging but basically what you would expect on an item of this age. Crosses had a red cotton thread around the sides at one time but that is missing for the most part.
