I've made these lavender sachets using an old pattern from a sewing kit. The fabric at the front was saved from an antique vestment and is silk and metal thread brocade in  creme and gold. The backs are a  heavy woven  silver lame fabric. Tightly stuffed to give the sachet a robust romantic look. At the top is a white metallic silver metallic twist cord so the sachet can easily be hung.  Photos are a good representation of actual color.

Condition

The silk brocades are old and I have stabilized the fabrics with a backing in order to assure that the sachet will last for years to come. All fabrics do show slight signs of age. I puposely wanted to stay true to their age and try not to over repair or overclean. I wanted to keep them old and authentic looking.
