Stunning antique finely woven gold metallic mesh with a warm even patina. French in origin. Hand embroidered repeating floral design in a silk thread shades of blue. There are 5 full floral motifs in the trim but one is very close to the far left edge.  Photos are a good indication of color and condition.

35.5 cm in length x 9 cm wide. (please note this is actually two pieces that have been hand stitched together). 
The floral motifs measure 4.5 cm from top to bottom x approx. 2.5 cm wide at widest points.
