An early 19th century French tapestry borderr. Wool with silk thread accents. Depicts florals and leaves with a ribbon woven down the middle. Colors are rich and strong in deep reds, blues, greens, browns and golden yellows. Photos are a good representation of actual color and condition.

Condition
 
Overall good condition with good strong colors. There are a few spots that have spllit and two small areas where the threads have worn leaving the base threads exposed. Most of the border can easily be used.
