An early 1800's French toile du jouy. Cotton. Nantes. Scenes of small sailboats, figures and buildings. Shades of pink in color against a white back.

Condition
 
Some larger and smaller holes mainly at the sides with a hole off of the center and a couple of tiny holes in center area. Some thin areas so I would stabilize. Colors are not totally even with stronger tones at the right and bottom and more faded tones upper left side. Good piece for small projects. No stains. 
 
The fabric has been laundered using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents to remove dust and dirt. We like to deliver a clean and pressed product when possible but take care to preserve the color and integretity of the fabric.
