I've made this pillow using a vintage vestment applique of a lamb "Agnus Dei." The applique is done in gold and silver metallic thread with a red velvet banner which drapes around the lamb. It's been hand sewn onto an antique royal midnight blue silk velvet which dates from the early 1900s. The same silk velvet has been used for the back. Gold metallic bullion fringes used along the sides and draped along the bottom. 
We always slightly overstuff our pillows in order for them to keep their shape for years to come.
Feather filled insert.

Condition
 
Good condition. The antique silk velvet is in mint unused condition. The applique and bullion fringes have been used previously on vestment pieces but are still in good condition with only minor signs of age. I always stabilized vintage and antique fabrics when necessary.
