Rich look to this antique French silk. Probably late 1800's/early 1900s. Depicts two figures siting at each side of a fountain resting on sea monsters. Design is woven not printed. Red sateen like background with design in a creme color. Suitable for soft furnishings and uphostery work. Selvages along both sides. Photos are a good indication of actual color and condition.
