Late 1700's/early 1800's French toile du jouy. Linen. Shades of dark pink reddish tones. Depicting some swags of blossoms, scrolled leaves and a set of tassels towards the left side. Main image towards the right is a set of columns with a deer standing and a deer resting at the base.

Condition
Heavily distressed with medium to small holes, many thin areas and a piece missing from upper left hand corner. Colors have undoubtedly faded over time but evenly.
The fabric has been laundered using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents in order to remove dust and dirt. We like to deliver a clean and pressed product when possible but take care to preserve the color and integretity of the fabric.
